In April 1993, at age 19, Bill Burris began his Arizona Pipeline Company career in the Northern Nevada Division, working on the asphalt paving crews. In January 1994, Bill transferred to the Phoenix Division where he quickly worked his way into a Pipefitter’s position. Bill worked many varied types of work from replacement to new business main lines. He was then promoted to a Foreman in June 1998, where he continued working various types of gas work. In February 2003, Bill was promoted to a Superintendent, in charge of crews throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, eventually responsible for one of Arizona Pipeline’s satellite yards in the north valley. After fourteen years as a Superintendent, he was promoted to a General Superintendent, overseeing over a half dozen Superintendents and around 50 crews.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dogs.
